Dear friend,

In December 2025, I shut down my six-figure coaching business.

From the outside it looked like a strange decision. The business was working. I was earning what I wanted, mostly doing work I enjoyed, and I had freedom. Yet for nearly eight months it had felt heavy and stressful.

I did what capable people do. I tweaked the offer, rebuilt the programme a few times, changed how I delivered it and kept reworking my messaging. None of it helped. I burnt out.

So I listened to my intuition and closed it, without knowing what came next.

It wasn't my first leap. Years earlier, with a PhD in psychology, I'd left a stable job as a university lecturer to build a business of my own. I'd spent my career studying behaviour change, and I still had to learn this the hard way:

I thought I had a business problem. I had a me problem.

I'd built my business on rules borrowed from mentors, programmes and books, designed around other people's businesses and personalities. When I struggled with them, I assumed something was wrong with me. Now I see resistance as information. If a strategy requires you to be less like yourself, it's the wrong strategy for you.

Since then I've worked alongside eight-figure entrepreneurs, spent a long time getting to know myself again, and started building from excitement instead of fear. Radically Human is what came out of it: a place to explore human nature, and to help people align their work and lives with who they truly are.

If any of this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear from you.

With warmth,

Ella
