Radically Human

Psychology · Human Nature · Business Strategy

Capable. Successful. And somehow not quite yourself.

Dr Ella Whitcomb-Khan writing in a journal

You're ambitious and intuitive. Strategic and creative. Commercially driven, but deeply concerned with meaning.

I'm Ella, a psychologist and business strategist. I help successful founders rediscover their natural strengths and translate them into business strategies that are both personally fulfilling and commercially effective.

Because you shouldn't have to choose between being yourself and being successful.

Sound familiar?

You've built something that works. But at what cost?

You're capable, ambitious and full of ideas. You've spent years learning how to build a successful business, and it's worked. But somewhere along the way, you may have sidelined yourself.

01

You've become very good at something you don't want to keep doing.

Your business is successful, but your role no longer reflects your natural strengths or the work that excites you.

02

You've sacrificed creativity for commercial effectiveness.

You have ideas, interests and ways of expressing yourself that rarely make it into your business because you've learned to prioritise what works.

03

You want to grow, but not further into the same business.

You're ambitious about your next chapter, but scaling what you've already built feels like moving further away from yourself.

My philosophy

You don't have to choose.

Between ambition and authenticity.

Between strategy and intuition.

Between commercial success and creative expression.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learn that building a successful business means becoming a particular kind of entrepreneur. So we abandon the parts of ourselves that don't seem to fit the blueprint.

But what if those qualities aren't obstacles to success?

What if they're some of your greatest strategic advantages?

You can be deeply human and wildly ambitious.

My work

Making more of who you are a strategic advantage.

Whether you realise it or not, who you are influences what you build. My work brings psychological insight and business strategy together, in three steps.

  1. 01

    Discover your nature

Strengths, gifts, motivations, creativity, natural working preferences and ambitions.

  2. 02

    Translate into strategy

Business model, founder role, offers, delivery, marketing, sales and growth direction.

  3. 03

    Design your next chapter

Commercially informed decisions, priorities and practical experiments.

My story

I built a six-figure business that didn't suit me.

In December 2025, I closed my six-figure coaching business. It was working. But for months, I'd felt increasingly resistant to the very thing I'd created.

Looking back, the problem wasn't that I didn't know how to build a successful business. I'd become very good at following a model that didn't make the most of who I was.

That's the idea behind Radically Human.
